KB Began his career in the Insurance and Financial Services Industry in 1984 as an agent in the Los Angeles General Office of New York Life. In 1986, KB began his career in Management when he was promoted to Sales Manager at the Pasadena General Office. In 1991, KB became the Managing Partner of the San Mateo Office which is now known as the Greater San Francisco General Office. Under his leadership, KB has catapulted the Greater San Francisco General Office from $630,000 in First Year commissions in 1990 to over $9.4 million in 2007. In 1991, our office only had 19 proactive agents and we now have 215 proactive professionally trained agents as of 2007. Under KB 's leadership, our General Office has had 13 consecutive years of straight line growth.
We are proud of New York Life's long history of providing financial education to our community and to our policyholders in the Bay Area. In 2002 The San Mateo General Office and the San Francisco General Office merged and was renamed the The Greater San Francisco General Office, which includes San Mateo, Santa Clara and Fremont.

Currently, even though KB is not on the board of various Indian organizations, he is very active from the outside. He lends full support for the causes of these organizations. He is also very active in the political arena defending Indian causes wherever possible. In August 2002, he received a Certificate of Recognition from California State Assembly for his years of service and commitment to the Indo-American community in California. KB has served as a Board member of Federation of Indo-American Association and Indo-American Chamber of Commerce in Northern California and is past President of United Cricket Club of Northern California
